3 main kinds of marine lubricants:
system marine engine oil, medium speed trunk piston engine oil, and
marine cylinder engine oil
Marine cylinder engine oil: Features and
benefits: 1) Superior acid neutralization ability 2) Excellent
wetting property 3) Excellent detergency and dispersancy to
effectively handle deposits in piston grooves 4) Perfect anti-wear
to ensure liner wear protection 5) Outstanding oxidation stability
to control the oxidation derivatives effectively 6) Superior
storage stability 7) Good seal ability to prevent fuels from
leaking Recommended applications: 1) Suitable for crosshead engines
burning high sulfur content diesel or residual fuels 2) C***0 is
suitable for low speed, two-stroke, crosshead and supercharge
engines burning fuels with sulfur content less than 2.5% by weight
3) C***0 and C***0 are suitable for engines burning fuels with
sulfur content less than 3.0% and 4.0% by weight respectively
System marine engine oil: Features and benefits: 1) Perfect
anti-emulsification and water separation properties 2) Outstanding
oxidation stability to ensure long drain interval 3) Excellent
detergency and dispersancy properties to assure the cleanness of
crankcase and other parts 4) Good antirust and anticorrosion
ability 5) Better alkalescence to neutralize acid substances formed
during the burning of fuel Recommended applications: 1) Suitable
for the lubrication of crankcase of low speed crosshead engines 2)
S***2 and S***2 can also be used as middle speed engine oil working
in diesel trunk piston engines with the fuel containing sulfur
lower than 0.5% by weight. Furthermore, they also can be used to
lubricate the auxiliary facilities on vessels Medium speed trunk
piston engine oil: Features and benefits: 1) Perfect
anti-emulsification and water separation properties 2) Outstanding
oxidation stability to control the oxidation products effectively
3) Excellent detergency and dispersancy to assure the cleanness of
piston and other parts 4) Superior cylinder ring and liner wear
protection 5) Effectively neutralize acid substances formed during
burning of fuel 6) Also can be used to lubricate diesel-driven
dynamotors Recommended applications: 1) Suitable for medium speed
four stroke trunk piston engines and crankcases or power plants
burning high sulfur content fuels 2) T***0 and T***0 can be used
for engines burning fuels with sulfur content less than 3.0% by
weight, T***0 and T***0, less than 4.0% respectively
