The author\'s design of the "Dreams of Byzantium" with mosaics of the Byzantine Chersonese preserves mysterious early Christian symbols and signs. In the center of the composition is an ornament permeated with light, which once decorated the ancient Christian temples of the city. The bird, enclosed in a round medallion, keeps memories of centuries gone by, symbolizing the human soul, and the original patterns of evergreen ivy personify immortality and fidelity.
