SUPERIOR PATIENT COMFORT: Due to advances in MICS techniques, sub-micro-incisions of less than 2 mm mean increased surgical control and lower complication rates, which, in turn, result in superior patient comfort and speedier recovery. ACCURATE IOLS INSERTION: The shooters, in conjunction with all O&O Mdc cartridges ensures the accuracy of the IOLs insertion during injection. HYDRAULIC EFFECT: This system uses a hydraulic effect. The viscoelastic solution drives the IOL with the elastomer stopper through the entire cartridge in one uniform fluid motion. The hydraulic pressure guarantees smooth, precise and completely controlled movement of the IOL through the cartridge. DIRECT IOL INJECTION: This enables the surgeon to direct the IOL injection via a microincision of only 1.4 mm 2.6 mm (EasyShooter, ClipShooter) and 1.8 mm 2.6 mm (OneShooter) depending on the cartridge type and whether the surgical technique used is docking or traditional. A WONDERFUL IMPROVEMENT: Truly a wonderful improvement on previous methods. The O&O Mdc IOL Delivery System is fully compatible for use with all one piece hydrophilic and hydrophobic acrylic IOLs, including those specifically designed for the MICS sub-2-mm microincision techniques. |
