The consumer literally utilized whatever they had on hand to store, protect and preserve their belongings, examples are boxes, bins, plastic bags, wrapping paper, trunks, etc. In ***3 an innovative concept of space saving and storage was introduced by a company called Space Bag. With an overwhelming response by the consumer they were soon considered to be one of the fastest growing companies in the world. Since their conception, Space Bag has sold over **0 million bags in this new market, a market they created and catered to solely. In the last three years over **0 million of these bags were sold and this year on QVC, an international TV outlet, they sold over 1, **0, **0.*0 bags in just one day which shows the growing expanding market to date. The consumer has shown that Space Bags concept of vacuum packaging is a viable solution to the space saving industry. Most complaints by the consumer are the bags won't seal, too expensive and the system is not portable, thus the consumer has found some of the flaws.
