This service is used in conjunction with standard genealogy searches to help narrow the field of search and look back farther in time. Our product AncestryByDNA is a premier product but we also do identity testing, Mitochondrial testing (mother to mother) and y-chromosome testing (father to father). In addition to consumer genealogy we have used this technology to help solve crimes. In the U.S., England and Canada we have been involved with nearly **0 criminal investigations where the identity of the victim is unknown or the identity of the criminal is unknown but DNA evidence is available. With as little as 2 nanograms of DNA, our company can provide a approximate description using our nearly 6,**0 person volunteer photo database. We can also determine the eye color and to some extent the hair color of the individual. Our final application is in the field of diagnostics and medicines.
