Dhanthak is an amalgamation of our Founders own first name and that of his elder brothers Dhanrajmal and Thakurdas. After India gained its independence from the British, Thakurdas Ranglani crossed the newly created India-Pakistan border to set up his business operations in Kurla, Bombay in ***8. He then re-branded his laundry cake as BB Soap; initialled after the term Bombays Best. In ***4, Chetan Ranglani joined his father in the family business, and took over operations of Dhanthak Soaps as CEO & Chairman in ***1 after Thakurdas Ranglanis sad demise. Today, Chetan Ranglani and his son Umesh Ranglani together manage the companys affairs, and have over the years spearheaded its diversification into various other spheres; including Real Estate Development and Information
