Mutlucan Tuz A.S Salt Factory operates in Şereflikohisar district of Ankara. Located in the Central Anatolian Region of Turkey, the Salt Lake is the largest lake and one of the natural salt lakes where the highest quality salt production takes place. With its surface area of approximately 3,**0 km2, it is located in the closed watershed in Central Anatolia Region in the middle of Ankara, Konya and Aksaray provinces. The Salt Lake, is located in the middle of the tectonic zones,and is known for its rich mineral structure. It is one of the few lakes seen of the world leading in terms of salinity rate. It is estimated that approximately **0 million tons of reserves are available. This lake, has been producing salt since the early ***0's, actually meets *0% of salt production of Turkey.
The Salt Lake basin,is a home to so many different species of birds,and has about 6,**0 birds nesting sites. In addition, **9 plant and bacterial species have been identified in the area. The Salt Lake is a Special Environmental Conservation Area, one of the most important natural areas of the world,and has been registered in the UNESCO World Heritage Temporary List because of its features.

About us
Mutlucan Salt Factory is one the biggest producers of salt in Turkey with its modern production and R&D plants located at the Salt Lake (Tuz Gl) and is also among the world's few salt producers. With its **0 workers as a big whole team, it focuses on innovative products other than natural raw salt, and produces a wide range of products from industrial salt to food salt. An average of 1.5 million tons of raw salt is produced annually by a solar evaporation method and an average of **0,**0 tons of processed salt is produced annually in the product processing plant with 1 working shift in a day. Mutlucan Salt, produces quarter of Turkey’s salt needs and exports from Turkey, to more than *5 countries on 3 continents. The main export markets are Russia, Romania, Bulgaria, Georgia, Switzerland, France, Germany, Netherlands, Belgium, Denmark, United Kingdom and Morocco.
