Solar Made

Colorado Instruments, Inc. is a Registered Colorado Corporation, doing business as (DBA) SOLARMADE and Solarts®. We manufacture a wide variety of solar (photovoltaic) powered products for educational, consumer, electronic and custom OEM markets. Manufacturing of our Solarts® solar powered executive gifts and solar panels began in ***8. Beginning in ***5 and continuing through June ***0, we were doing business as (DBA) "SOLAR WORLD".. Solar Made owns a ***0 square foot manufacturing facility in Colorado Springs. Nearly all of our solar products are proudly "Made in the USA" by our *8 dedicated employees. The majority of our solar panels and solar battery chargers are made using Mono or Single-Crystal Silicon solar cells, many of which are Space Satellite grade, (the most efficient solar cells on the market). Solar Made manufactures over *0 standard solar products, and currently over *0 products for custom/OEM customers (we worked with the Jet Propulsion Laboratory to develop prototype solar arrays for the Mars Sojourner rover).
