Located in the heart of Basmati rice region Gujranwala, Punjab Pakistan, which is known worldwide for its cultural heritage, tradition and rich harvest. Taj Food (Pvt) Ltd. represents a modern and sophisticated rice mill. It has state of the art processing facilities including paddy drying and cleaning, husking, pre-cleaning, de-stoning, single/double polishing, silky polishing (mist polishing), width grading, length grading and the latest color sorting. We always keep strict quality control in the production process. Our quality assurance program (QAP) starts from the selection and procurement of the finest quality raw paddy. We only use the best raw material which produces a high quality product. We select the best farmers in the finest rice growing areas of Punjab for the best raw paddy. Our field staff regularly monitors paddy fields from sowing to harvesting. They also advise the farmers on the usage of fertilizers and pesticides to produce healthy grains of rice without chemical residue. For export quality rice is produced at our modern Japanese plant with a capacity of 2.5 Mt/h. Before presenting the product to our customer, it goes through stringent quality control tests at our mill. Our laboratory is equipped with the most modern equipments munned by experts who have been involved with rice for two decades. The lab tests ensure the uniformity in whiteness degree, moisture content, average grain length (AGL) broken percentage and color.
