introduction of 1x8 CAT5 DA,Part # CETxDA ***2.C a 1:8 VGA to CAT5
Distribution Amplifier with an integrated CAT5
Transmitter.
This is the perfect solution for anyone who
needs to send Composite or S-Video, HD (YUV), RGsB, or
RGBHV video plus stereo (L, R) audio and RS***2 or IR
remote control signals to multiple remote displays at the same
time. The CETx DA**8 is fully compatible with Creative equalized
receivers for distribution lengths of up to **0 meters from the
source.
Multiple
Signal Compatibility: The CETx DA**8 is designed to accommodate
three different types of Video Signals; (1) Composite PAL/NTSC
(CV, S-Video, YUV), (2) HDTV (YUV), or (3) Computer (RGBHV, RGsB)
Video. A three position selector switch is used to select
the type of video that is to be processed. Audio and the serial
communications ports are not affected by this
switch.
The CETx DA**8 Distribution Amplifier has
eight RJ**5 output connectors with Diagnostic LEDs for Power and
Signal and loop-thru VGA HD**5 connectors for the video path,
loop-thru 3.5mm stereo audio connectors for Left and Right
channel audio, one DB*9 connector for RS***2 and one 3.5mm
connector for IR control. Note that RS***2 and IR cannot be used
simultaneously.

Precaution:While the
CETxDA **8 is power from an external universal mains power to *5V
converter, internally it has built-in surge and transient
protection with a high degree of ground loop
immunity.
