MTRX***4.Ais an analog 4x4 SD/HD/RGB
Video/Audio-to-CAT5 Switcher with integrated analog-to-CAT5
converters. This switcher accepts and processes multi-standard
video and stereo audio s thus eliminating the need for
external video/audio to CAT5 converters. The idea behind this
product is provide the means to select one-of-four audio and
video s, convert them to CAT5 compatible signals, and
transmit them to some remote location using inexpensive CAT5
cable. The internal switching matrix provides for the means to
select any of the *-s at any of the *-outputs. Each
destination then uses a Creative CAT5 receiver (sold separately)
to convert the combined signals back to their
components.
MTRX***4.Awhen used with the Creative CAT5 receivers
can extend the sources up to **0 meters. Also, each
receiver provides two separate stereo VGA outputs to allow
multiple displays at the destination. Integrating the CAT5 transmitters into the
product provides theultimate cost-saving solution to handle
SD/HD/RGB Video and Stereo Audio processing and selection matrix
in one enclosure.This unit is ideal for connecting multiple
sources such as Personal computers, Set Top boxes, DVD or Blue
Ray Players and satellite receivers, to remote displays. The
selection of s can be achieved locally from the front panel,
or remotely via RS***2.
LCD DISPLAY:The front panel LCD displays shows the
status – source and destination selection – at all times, and
provides clear indication of pending operations and
pushes. The user interface is simple and intuitive. The RS***2
commands for remote control are specifically designed for easy
interfacing to third-party control
systems.
