We refer to the first style as "Foil-Single Bubble-Foil", which consists of a single layer of polyethylene bubbles that are sandwiched between two layers of *9% pure aluminum radiant barrier foil. This style can be used in a variety of applications because of it's thin, lightweight properties. It has reflective foil on both sides which allows it to reflect *7% of radiant heat away from a structure on the outside and back into a structure from the inside. This is why it works effectively in both hot and cold climates.
