These winches are installed on the forecastle deck of port and terminal tugs. With one or two towing drums in the center and chain lifters on both sides, it combines the function of a towing winch and anchor windlass as a whole unit of deck equipment, which can saves a considerable amount of space on deck. For anchoring operation, brakes and clutches are manually controlled nearby the equipment, while towing operation is mainly controlled from the wheelhouse.
