Base Oil SN **0 is defined as a
light grade base oil at the upper end of the specifications for
Grade I base oils. It is primarily used in lubricant production.
It is a Group I base oil that has undergone solvent refining
processes. To finish the refining, it was hydrogen treated to
clear out any impurities. The product is obtained from the crude oil
vacuum fraction, selectively refined out of solvents, dewaxed and
hydro-refined. Those processes enable receiving the desired
properties of the final product, such as lack of low-index
substances, better color, and good low-temperature and
thermo-oxidation properties. Base oil SN **0 is intended for use
in lubricants production.
