1. PROPERTY:



NaOH solid releases heat when it melts with water, it is the most normal and important alkali, also called caustic sode and it"s density is 2.**0g/cm3. Pure anhydrous sodium hydroxide is white translucent crystalline solid.







2. SPECIFICATIONS:



Caustic soda includes two kinds: Solid and liquid. Pure solid caustic soda is white and crisp. Pure liquid is colorless and transparent liquid, solid content: *6%, *9%, liquid content: *2%, *8% and so on.







3. USAGE:



Because of it's strong moisture absorption, sodium hydroxide can be used to make alkaline drier. It can be used in manufacturing chemical medicine, and it also can be used in paper, aluminum smelting, refining tungsten, artificial silk, rayon and soap manufacturing. The caustic soda is also widely used in dyes, plastic, agent and organic intermediate, old rubber reproduction, sodium metal, water electrolysis and water electrolysis to make borax, chromium salt, potassium permanganate, phosphate and so on.
