excellent moisturizer in cosmetic dermatology and skin-care
products. CollagenI is the most abundant protein of the ECM in
the human body, and thus, it stands out as an ideal candidate
material for tissue engineering applications, particularly skin
and wound healing. Recombinant human collagen eliminates the risk
of pathogen transfer or xenogeneic immuno-responses posed by
animal collagens.
