its main parts are measuring rod, magnetic core and coil etc. in measurement, displacement of workpiece causes the relative position change of magnetic core and coil, thus the inductance amount of coil changes. the changed signal is sent to the electronic part to be amplified and rectified, then displayed in the form of analogue or digital signal.
it is classified into two types from the working principle: differential inductance and LVDT; two kinds from the moving direction of measuring rod; spring type and pneumatic propulsion; three kinds from the structure: rolling guideway, sliding guideway and lever type. most of them are of rolling guideway and spring restoring structure. we call this the basic type. filtered and regulated clean air of 0.***0.1MPa is applied to push out the rod to measure for the type of pneumatic propulsion type transducer. stop air supply to retract the rod so that the workpiece can be placed and removed.
