Ginger is a root plant with a botanic name of Zingiber officinale. It is one of Agricultural produce that is very useful and has lot of benefits.

It is widely used as a spice and a folk medicine. It is an herbaceous perennial that grows annual pseudostems about one meter tall, bearing narrow leaf blade.

Where one can aways find ginger are Tropical and Subtropical Areas: Countries like India, China, Nigeria, Indonesia, and Thailand are major producers of ginger. Ginger thrives in regions with temperatures between *2°C and *0°C (*2°F to *6°F) and plenty of rainfall.

Organic dried or powdered ginger is prepared by dying fresh ginger naturally without a sun ray or excessive increase in temperature. Fresh ginger is allowed to dry under the room temperature, on a shade without the penetration of sun rays.

Though this method takes time for it to dry but this is the best way to retain the nutrients in ginger just like when it was fresh. After been dried, it will be grinded with a clean grinder to avoid been contaminated to powder and pack.
