This kind of crane is for multiple cargo handling, i.e. container loading and unloading, dry bulk or general heavy lift cargo handling. The rubber tyre-based machine can be positioned on the quay side of a seaport or river port or terminal, as long as there is sufficient space and quay load supporting the weight of the crane and the cargo it handles. This machine works by way of a lattice boom, affixed to a steel tower. a motorized rotor hook is attached to the boom by way of two wire ropes where the electricity is fed to the rotor hook via a flexible cable reeled out from a cable reel attached to the crane's boom end. the rotor hook can be attached to a dedicated telescopic spreader which handles standard *0'/*0' marine containers. likewise, a motorized grab can be attached to the hook and thus dry bulk material such as coal or iron ore can be handled.
