The atomic absorption spectroscopy is based on the strong absorption of the resonance radiation of the ground-state atoms of the element measured in the gas state. The method has the advantages of low detection limit, high accuracy, good selectivity and fast analysis speed. When the experimental conditions such as the temperature absorption path and the injection method are fixed, the atoms in the ground state of the element to be measured produced by the sample absorb the monochromatic light emitted by the hollow cathode lamp of the element as a sharp light source, the absorbance (a) is proportional to the concentration (c) of the element in the sample. In the equation a = kc, k is constant. According to this, by measuring the absorbency of standard solution and unknown solution, and knowing the concentration of standard solution, we can make a standard curve and get the concentration of elements to be measured in unknown solution.
