An Alphaamylase with excellent heat-resistance, ideal for desizing of textile fabrics incl. Cotton, silk, polyvinyl alcohol, rayon fiber, synthetic blended and yarn-dyed poplin:

Description
HS***0 is a thermostable AlphaAmylase produced by a modified strain of Bacillus licheniformis. It is an endoamylase that hydrolyzes alpha*1, *-glucosidic bonds to quickly reduce the viscosity of gelatinized starch, producing soluble dextrins and oligosaccharides.

Application
HS***0 has excellent heat resistance, fits to desizing of textile fabrics such as cotton, silk, polyvinyl alcohol, rayon fiber, synthetic blended and yarn-dyed poplin.

Product Characteristics

Effect of pH
HS***0 is active over a wide pH range, depending on the application conditions. The optimal pH is 6.0~7.5. The stable pH range is 5.0~*0.0 at *5°C(*7° F).

Effect of Temperature
Optimum temperature of HS***0 ranges from *5 to **0ºC.
