5. Product Features
3S-HEC can be soluble in both cold and hot water, and it has wide range of solubility and viscosity and non-thermal gelling property as well as strong water retention capacity. Comparing with CMC, it has better salt resistance.
 
6. Product Application
3S-HEC can be mostly used as thickener in latex paint, also it has functions of emulsifying, dispersing, stabilizing and water retention. It can be used into building construction, such as, concrete mixture, fresh mortars, gypsum plaster or clay, it can help mixtures to gain excellent water retention, also it can improve mixtures workability and pot life.
