High chromium cast iron blow bar is of wear-resisting, because its matrix contains certain amount of Cr7c3 type carbide. The carbide quantity and distribution direct influence the performance of the blow bars. If Cr7C3 type carbide disorder distribution, the micro hardness of the part is ********0 HV. However, if Cr7C3 directional distribution, the axial section micro hardness will reach more than ***0HV. After microalloyed, the micro hardness will be up ***0HV. This is also the main reason why directional solidification can improve the wear resistance of the high chromium cast iron.
