Introduce：

Inconel 622 is a nickel-based superalloy composed of nickel, molybdenum, cobalt, tungsten and other elements. The nickel content is about 60%. It is a general-purpose Ni-Cr-Mo-W alloy with overall corrosion resistance superior to other existing Ni-Cr-Mo alloys, including Hastelloy C-276, C4 alloy, and 625 alloy. Inconel622 has good resistance to pitting corrosion, crevice corrosion and stress corrosion cracking. It has excellent oxidation resistance in aqueous media, including wet chlorine, nitric acid or mixed acids containing chloride ions.

Standard grades and specifications for Inconel 622:

US standard grade: UNS N06622 Specifications:

AMS 5540: Inconel 622 plates, sheets, and strips produced by hot rolling, cold drawing, and hot forming. AMS 5713: Inconel 622 bars and profiles. AMS 5714: Inconel 622 seamless and welded tubes. ASTM B168: Standard specification for nickel-chromium-iron alloys (UNS N066xx) plate, sheet, and strip. ASME SB-168: Same as above.

European standard grade: NiCr21Mo14W (2.4856) Specifications:

EN 10095: Technical delivery conditions for hot rolled and forged stainless steels and heat-resisting materials. EN 10269: Technical delivery conditions for steel alloys intended for use in high temperature and corrosive environments. EN 10204: Standard specification for type, batch, and quality certificates for metal products. EN 10302: Technical delivery conditions for hot rolled, forged, and cold worked nickel alloy bars.

Japanese standard grade: NCF 622 Specifications:

JIS G4902: Standard specification for seamless and welded nickel alloy tubes. JIS G4903: Standard specification for seamless and welded nickel alloy tubes.

Chinese standard grade: GH3622 Specifications:

GB/T 14992: Standard specification for seamless and welded nickel alloy tubes. GB/T 14995: Standard specification for hot rolled, forged, and cold worked nickel alloy plates, sheets, and strips. GB/T 14996: Standard specification for nickel alloy bars and profiles.

Application fields:

Inconel 622 is widely used in chemical and petrochemical fields, such as components and catalytic systems in contact with chlorinated organics. The material is especially suitable for high temperature, mixed inorganic and organic acid (such as formic acid, acetic acid, etc.) impurities, seawater corrosion environment.
