The box is made by hand, of solid wood. Its outer surface is covered with tinter and transparent varnish. Along the perimeter of the box and the lid the carving is threaded symmetrically.

The lid of the box is closed by two latches of metal. They are of yellow color and stylized antique. Box stands on four legs.
