Lanthanum Bromide(LaBr3), when activated with small amount of Cerium, is an efficient and fast scintillation crystal. LaBr3 ce scintillator is particularly attractive due to its ultra-high light output over a wide range of temperature, its fast time response and resulting energy resolution performance, which can be used for almost all fields of nuclear radiation detection.

EPIC Crystal has been proceeding the R&D of LaBr3 ce scintillator since ***8, now sample is acquired and the initial test results are very positive, saying 2.9% energy resolution(**2KeV) with 1″x1″ LaBr3 ce by using the Hamamatsu R****1 Photo-Multiplier Tube, please contact us to get more details and we will keep updated procedures.
