Mancozeb is a dithiocarbamate non-systemic agricultural fungicide
with multi-site, protective action on contact. It is a combination
of two other dithiocarbamates: maneb and zineb.[1] The mixture
controls many fungal diseases in a wide range of field crops,
fruits, nuts, vegetables, and ornamentals. It is marketed as
Dithane, Manzeb, Nemispot, and Manzane.
Metalaxyl is a phenylamide fungicide with systemic function. Its
chemical name is methyl
N-(methoxyacetyl)-N-(2,*-xylyl)-DL-alaninate. It can be used to
control Pythium in a number of vegetable crops, and Phytophthora in
peas.It is the active ingredient in the seed treatment agent Apron
XL LS。
