NAR– Layout shown with approx
storage of ***4 pallets stored 6 high in a typical ***0 sq.mt
warehouse.
A NAR system as
its name suggests is a Selective PR designed with narrow aisles
such that wastage is minimized and maximum capacity is achieved
from a given warehouse space. The equipment used to load and
unload pallets from this system does not turn in the aisle but
just moves along it on a predetermined track and the forks move
sideways into the rack to access the pallet.
The advantage of this
system is that it can be designed for higher warehouses making
optimum use of the length, width and height of the warehouse with
the additional option of automating the system if need be due to
its compatibility. The system is also installed at picking
sections to achieve maximum picking efficiency. The capacity of
the same warehouse is demonstrated as increased by *6% over
