TNEC is intended for electrophysical treatment of feed water for
control and prevention of bacteria, esp. Pathogens like
legionella.
The schematic on the following page illustrates the functional
principle of the NECON water treatment.
The system has been designed specifically for application in
domestic water supply installations.
The electrolysis is automatically turned on and off via an
integrated controller component (flow monitor) detecting and
signaling water flow resp. water feed.
The unit ships with a preinstalled sacrificing electrode. It must
be inspected minimum every *2 months, and replaced latest after 2
years.
Power Supply: Wall plug transformer, output to system: *4 V DC,
plug to TNEC device with positive tip polarity, mind.
***0mA.
Power Consumption: max. *7 Watts (@********************imum
potentiometer performance setting (< 1W on standby)
Amperage: 0.6 A max. (factory default, potentiometer set
rightmost) 0.*6 A min.
IPE Rating: IP *4
Weight: 1,*5 kg 1inch versions, 2,*5 kg 2inch version
Temperature Rating: Ambient max. *0 °C. Water max. *0
°C
TNEC should be placed right after water meter (point of
transfer from community supply network) or after discharge
from well / ground). If the feed water is decalcified, it is
recommendable to place TNEC onward from the decalcification
unit. Depending on hardness minerals load in the feed water,
decalcification will extend intervals for electrode service
for maintaining electrode performance.
Must align vertical resp. upright!
Must oberserve flow direction of water, cf. blue arrow on the
right!
Fitting of cutoff valves on inlet and outlet is recommended
with regard to periodical electrode checks.
The installation area must be protected against damages that
can be caused by water leakages (e.g. during electrode
maintenance), for example by means of floor drains and where
deemed appropriate by additional floor sensors that signal
any flooding and may also close automated valves.
Pressure rating: max. *0 bar working pressure
Connections: Brass screw joints with 1inch BSP or 2inch BSP
internal threads
Switching point (minimum water flow) min. 2 liters per minute
(turbine version with 1inch screw joints), min. *2 liters per
minute (paddle versions with 1inch or 2inch screw joints)

Product Overview and Operation Log)
