The OEM
Compact CO2 CapnoGraphy Module (CO2CGM) is a complete data
collection and analysis system for monitoring respiratory carbon
dioxide concentration. The CO2CGM module includes a miniature of
CO2 detecting system, barometric pressure transducer and a
miniature low-power vacuum pump. A microprocessor collects the
sensor data and calculates various real-time parameters:
instantaneous CO2 concentration, end-tidal CO2 concentration,
inspired CO2 concentration, inspiration and expiration
times.
The module is
highly configurable to meet most OEM implementation requirements.
System specifications such as baudrate, parity, waveform data
rate and floating point data format can be programmed at the
factory for custom configurations.
Interfacing to
the CO2CGM module is very simple. The module requires a **2V
supply at **0mA maximum current (**0mA typical). The host sends
commands and receives waveform, breath parameters and command
responses on two *3.3V asynchronous serial data lines.
