Peening media ceramic shot is a zirconium oxide base ceramic bead. It is especially suitable for aero plane and aerospace part peening and getting specific shapes. The ceramic shot can improve aero parts strength by removing prestress of aerospace components and forming the profile. It can also improve fatigue resistance and hence mechanical strength.
 
Characteristics of Peening media ceramic shot:

1. High strength and wear resistance.
2. Very high hardness and density. The ceramic shot has high hardness, with Vickers hardness (microhardness) of **0hv and Rockwell hardness of *0hrc.
3. No dust, high abrasion resistance, and strength make it difficult for the ceramic shot to be broken during shoting.
