Product Reference Standards
Maida means the fine product made by milling or grinding clean wheat free from rodent hair 
and excreta and bolting or dressing the resulting wheat meal. It shall conform to the following standards
Moisture:
Not more than *4.0 % (when determined by heating at ******3° C for 2 hours).
Total Ash:
Not more than 1 % ( on dry weight basis)
Ash insoluble in dilute HCL: 
Not more than 0.*0% (on dry weight basis)
Gluten:
Not less than 7.5 % (on dry weight basis)
Alcoholic acidity ( with *0% alcohol ) expressed as H2SO4 (on dry weight basis)
Not more than 0.*2 %
