KEY FEATURES

It is designed for welding low-carbon, molybdenum-bearing austenitic stainless steels, such as **6&**6L, and their equivalents.
ER3 1 6L contains a lower carbon content compared to standard ER3 1 6 electrodes. This helps to minimize the risk of sensitization and intergranular corrosion in the weld joint.
Clean and aesthetically pleasing welds with good bead appearance.ER**6L produces welds with good strength and ductility, ensuring reliable and robust welded joints.
Excellent corrosion resistance, suitable for applications where the welds need to maintain their corrosion-resistant properties. The inclusion of molybdenum in ER**6L enhances its resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion, making it suitable for use in chloride-rich environments, such as marine or coastal applications.
ER3 1 6L welding wire is versatile and suitable for a wide range of applications, including the joining of stainless steels, overlaying, and cladding.
