KEY FEATURES

An improved version of ER3 1 6L with the addition of silicon (Si) to its composition. The addition of silicon (Si) in ER**6LSi improves the weld metals fluidity and wetting characteristics, resulting in better bead appearance and increased penetration.
ER3 1 6LSi also contains molybdenum (Mo), which enhances its resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion, making it suitable for use in chloride-rich environments, such as marine or coastal applications.
It offers good high-temperature strength, making it suitable for applications involving elevated temperatures and thermal cycling.
It is versatile and suitable for a wide range of applications that involve welding austenitic stainless steels. The improved wetting of ER3 1 6LSi makes it suitable for high speed welding.
ER3 1 6LSi is commonly used in industries such as petrochemical, food processing, pharmaceuticals, and marine applications, where its excellent corrosion resistance and mechanical properties are highly valued.
