Alongside our idea for unsalted green olives, we were inspired to produce another type of olive: the “sun-dried” olive. Therefore we found a way to make olives “sweeter” using natural methods which would appeal to every consumer’s dietary demands and pocket and then marinate with various spices (origano, paprika, etc.). Finally the olives are transferred to a desiccator, or drying cabinet, where they are carefully dehydrated, leaving them with a “sun-dried” appearance.
This process gives the baked olive a sweeter flavour which will surely be appreciated by consumers.
