2.Physical property of TNT/TRINITROTOLUENE
Industrial TNT is pale yellow scaly, not dissolve in water. TNT is toxic, and its
vapor and dust can go into human body through respiratory tract, digestive tract
even via contact with skin. Its key components are 2,4,6tritolol, as well as a small number of other isomeric compound and sundries.
The relative density of TNT is 1.66g/cm3,bulk density: crystalline (0.9 ~ 1) g/cm3scaly (0.75 ~ 0.85) g /cm3.The melting point and solidification point of purification TNT is 80.2 ℃, while that of industrial grade is lower.

3.Chemical property of TNT/Trinitrotoluene
TNT can flame stably by fire in the air with black smoke; it might explode if
burning in a closed condition or in large reactor volume. Therefore, it needs specialattention to be paid in the process of production.
4.Main explosion characteristics of TNT in standard test condition

5. Note about TNT/TRINITROTOLUENE
In production of TNT, its main explosion characteristics had large change.With
processing temperature increasing, TNT impact sensitivity increased significantly,
the molten TNT (82℃ to 100℃) impact sensitity is 42% ~ 46%, which is similar
to tetryl.
In addition, there will be a series of isomerization process in the sunlight or
ultraviolet radiation, and TNTbecomes dark brown, meanwhile its quality declines and sensitivity increases. after irradiation in the sun for 512 hours, freezing point ofTNT declines to 76.4℃, impact sensitivity is increases to 30%, and its outbreak
point is 280℃～285℃.
