Main technical features of TD**0/***0 are as follows:

Gearbox
    Using the combination of two new designs, that is involute spline coupling and double reduction helical gear, results that TD**0/***0 gearbox has many advantages such as compact structure, high output torque, long work-life and operating safety and reliability. The drill capacity of top drive is upgraded greatly.

Double Load Path
    TD**0/***0 adopts double load path to drill and triple, which avoids stress concentrating on main shaft and enhances carrying capability and prolong the life-span of the main shaft. Rotary head has a reasonable and balanceable load to endure instantaneous great load while tripping and to avoid shutdown for long time as well as reduce maintenance workload caused by rotary head damaging.

Involute Spine Clutch Locking Assembly of Rotary Head
    Adopting involute spline clutch assembly makes rotary head locked instantaneously and makes operation more convenient. The rod of locking hydraulic cylinders doesn¡¯t suffer shear stress so that life-span of hydraulic cylinders is guaranteed.

Retraction Mode Link Tilt Assembly
    The work principle of new link tilt assembly is that: through retracting tilt cylinder rods to pull elevator links forward, which reduces the rods loading and avoids rods to be bended and even fractured.
    
Deep Groove Ball Bearing IBOP Drive Assembly
    The new IBOP drive assembly with deep groove ball bearing has better axial carrying capacity and axial steering capacity. It can solve the problem of roller's abrasion as well as boost the operating safety.
   
Dual Clamp Cylinder
    Dual Clamp Cylinder, with its symmetrical and stable structure, needs no stabilizer liner, which saves the operating cost.    
Single rail and Carriage
     Rectangular single rails design, convenient for storage and transport;     Rail connected with double pins make transportation and operation convenient;     Carriage adopts friction blocks instead of rollers to ensure reliability and durability and reduce repair cost.     

Cylinder control system    
      Integrated to top drive, reduce fault point;     Reasonable installation site of manifold to adjust pressure and repair conveniently;     Special customize steel manifold for cylinder, nickel age surface, more beautiful and durable;     All imports of hydraulic manifolds and connectors to ensure system reliability;     Perfect control for hydraulic functions and interlocking with PLC.    

Driller Console    
     Stainless steel shell, designed with pressure alarm of positive pressure explosion-proof;     
     Using standard gas of platform, also have pneumatic assembly to make oil-water separation and decompression;       PRifibus bus communication of siemens, reduce amount of connection, debase interruption and fault;    
      Button to place human-arranged to reduce error operation;
    Display rotate speed and torque clearly and accurately;    Provided additional analog signals port for logging signal acquisition easily.  

Electrical Control cabines    
    Manufacturing and design of cabinets are suitable for the ocean environment; 
    Cabinets are arranged beautiful and reasonable; 
    AC drive system is imported from Siemens     Perfect power filter and protection; 
    Achieved accurate and reliable control by Simens PLC and profibus
