liquid with a high boiling point and high
viscosity.
sOME OF THE MAIN USES:
- used as a
plasticizer for vinyl polymers
-additive for
hydraulic fluids and brake fluids
- used in air
sanitizer products such as Oust or Clean and
Pure
- TEG is an
active component of certain pigments, printing dyes, inks, and
paste
- used as
a dehydrating agent for natural gas pipelines where it removes the
water from the gas before being
condensed
- used in
the oil and gas industry to dehydrate natural gas, CO2, H2S, and
other oxygenated gases
- used as a
base for smoke machine fluid in the entertainment
industry
-used as a
solvent for cellulose acetate, resins, oils, and
dyes
