TMPDE—Trimethylolpropane Diallyl Ether (Resin Air Drying Agent)

TMPDE is a compound of three kinds of Allyl Ether, full name is
Trimethylolpropane Diallyl Ether, including Monoallyl Ether,
Diallyl Ether, Triallyl Ether. Because of such structure, TMPDE
becomes an excellent Air Drying Agent, is widely used in the
production of unsaturated polyester resin (UPR), and modified
acrylic resins (UV) mainly.
TMPDE keeps stably under normal temperature and humidity, possessing typical character of ether and alcohol functional group. Ether functional group can offer air drying character, alcohol functional group can be taken esterify reaction, so TMPDE is widely applied in synthetic resin.
Compared with other drying agents, such as organic tins,
amines, TMPDE perfomances none yellowing as well as the air
drying function.
