Valve guides
Valve guides are the guiding device for engine valves, used to guide engine valves, and transfer heat from valve stem to cylinder head.
 
There is micro gap between valve stem and valve guide to make stem move in valve guide easily. The valve guide works with high temperature and high collision, so the material of valve guide is cast iron with graphite or iron based powder metallurgy to improve lubrication.
