Zinc stearate is white or light yellow powder. It
is dissolved

hot alcohol; but not in water. It can be decomposed
into
stearic acid and corresponding salt by strong
acid. The product
possessed water absorbability in
air.

glazing agent, paint flatting agent and cosmetic
