DESCRIPTION OF PRODUCT:

High Temperature RTV Gasket Maker

-One part component with special design to meet today's technology changes.

-It forms any size of shape gasket which is resistant to both high temperature and high pressure.

- Resists cracking, shrinking and migrating caused by thermal cycling.

-Withstands temperature from **0F up to **0F.

CHARACTERISTIC:

-High Temperature gasketing material designed primarily for use on aluminum, iron and steel flanged mating surfaces. Ideal for on-the-spot and emergency repairs, or when a conventional gasket is unavailable.

-Fills gaps up to .**5" and cures to a solvent resistant seal that will not tear or decay during service.

-Suggested applications: Water pumps, themostat housings, transmission pans and case covers, transaxle casings, o-ring replacement.

SURFACE PREPARATION:

-The silicone sealant should be applied at a thickness not to exceed 6mm (1/4 in) from an exposed edge.
-The recommended minimum joint dimension is 1/4" x 1/4" and the maximum joint dimension is 1" x 3/8"..
-Ensure all surfaces that will be in contact with the sealant must be clean, dry, free of dust , dirt, rust, oil and
other contaminants.
-Nonporous substrates should be clean with solvent and wipe dry immediately with cloth before the solvent
evaporates from the surface. Porous surfaces should be roughen with a stiff-bristled brush, rubbed down or
sandblasted.
-Cut off tip nozzle and cartridge. Screw n nozzle to cartridge.
-Fit into caulking gun, apply on surface in steady flow.
-If required, smooth and shape sealant with spatula dipped in mild detergent.
-To remove excess uncured sealant with a mineral turpentine soaked cloth. Fully cured excess sealant can be
removed by trimming with a sharp knife.
-Content fully cures in *8 hours.

SAFETY PRECAUTION:

Ensure good ventilation if used indoors.
Contact of unvulcanised silicone sealant with eyes and mucous membranes must be avoided as this will cause
irritation.
