A Medium and High level printing as sizing paste for reactive dyes. It improves the brightness and strength of the yarn. During cloth weaving the yarn hardly loses its starch and the surface of the finish cloth is smooth and the cloth is easy to wash.

In general use of high viscosity alginate yields a higher gel strength compared with the alginate of the lower viscosity. Used as the thickening agent of dye, the printed size is easy to adhere to the printed cloth with better penetrability and the colour dries quickly and retreats easily and the outline is very clear and colour depth is maximum.

AAA-RS grade****0 cps of standard high viscosity Sodium alginate, which is readily soluable technical grade of sodium alginate is used for all types of printing on a wide variety of fabrics. In particular Reactive dye printing, where a low solid thickening gives the desired printing results, especially on absorbent cellulosic fabrics printed with a simple design. On less absorbent fabrics, AAA-RS - ***0 cps can give excellent results on rollers or screens applying small areas of colours. It is suitable for cotton, wool, silk and synthetic fibre.

Applications:
·                      Roller Printing machines : Considerable experience has shown that prints of excellent sharpness of definition, levelness and colour yield can be obtained in simple patterns by using the high viscosity grades of sodium alginate with high purity
·                      Flat-Bed Automatic Screen printing machines : The points mentioned in roller printing machines are equally applicable to this type of screen printing. Good quality sodium alginates are free from insoluable particles and there is no risk of blocking the screens. It should be remembered, however, that blockage can occur when calcium compounds are found in water supply which can interfere with the smoothness of the paste. This can be prevented by the correct addition of a calcium sequestering agent to the thickening.
·                      Cotton, Linen, Viscose Rayon: Cellulosic fabrics are hydrophilic and therefore have a fairly high degree of absorbency. This absorbency will vary accordingly to the actual type of fabric
