Chia seed has become widely recognized as a super food due to its

Chia is *6 percent protein, *1 percent fat, and *4 percent
carbohydrate of which *8 percent is fiber. Most of its fat is the
essential omega*3 fatty acid alpha-linolenic acid or ALA.
