JLee Select is a heavy forage producing rye that was developed in
NW Oklahoma By the Jlee Co. to maximize weight grain for Stocker
calves on winter pastures. The Select is a strain cross of
Elbon,Oaklon,and Ok Abruzzi Rye. This winter Rye crop is great for
all types of Livestock. Its a great producer of Green
manure.
Its *7% pure , Germ is *5% Drought tolerate, With
adequate moisture it will be ready for grazing in as little as 6 to
9 weeks. It will grow very well in sandy loam soil. It will
tolerate poor soil very well.
