Horsetail whisk is used to be not only a token of Taoism, but also
a tool to brush away the flies, mosquitoes. This whisk is made of
horsetail, tied with nylon thread on the bottom of handle. You will
see that the handle is made of wood, carved in a smooth column. In
China, it is believed that a taoism whisk can be as a talisman to
scare away the evils. So you may hang it as a wall decoration to
get rid of bad luck and bring happiness for your family. Or you may
wear the taiji suit, a whisk in hand as a weapon, practicing
Chinese kungfu.
