Rice Processors

Rice Processors Pty Ltd was established in ***8 to trade in rice and to manufacture rice flour and other grain products.

A Turbo Mill manufactured by Maize Master in Kroonstad was purchased and commissioned in ***9. The mill has a capacity between **0kg to ***0kg per hour depending on the product being processed. The mill produces rice, grain sorghum and soya flour. We can mill any grain to varying granulations.

A Extruder for the manufacturing of snacks and baby food. The extruder has a capacity of between **0kg and **0 kg per hour. This equipment is used for niche market products due to its low capacity. To achieve the optimum results from this machine only high starch raw materials can be used.

We have been inspected by the Department of Health and have a Certificate of Acceptability issued by them. Our factory is Kosher and Halaal certified.
We have employed two Food Technologists, who graduated from the University of Johannesburg.
We have undergone two food audits by other companies, which we have passed to become approved suppliers for them.
We have got our Food Safety Audit (FSA) certification and then to follow up with the Food Safety System Certification (FSSC ****0). This qualification is fully recognised by the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI). We are well advanced with the preparation for these audits.

8. Popped grains, including but not restricted to: white rice, brown rice, sorghum and pumpkin seeds.
9. Baby cereal and snacks.
10. Maize flour.
