IMEX Mineral Resources and Processing Company Limited:
With a workforce of over *0 core staff including competent and dedicated professionals, the Imex Coal Briquette factory is the first of its kind in West Africa, and the game changer in the alternative/renewable energy mix. The factory is at Ankpa, Kogi State, and produces coal briquettes as well as coal stoves, to support the enormous domestic energy consumption in Nigeria. With no less than three production lines equipped with modern dozer-crusher-mixer-dozer- press collector, it can produce over *0, **0 coal briquettes/day for domestic and industrial uses for cooking, as against the use of fire wood.  The efficacy of the briquette is a delight to observe when cooking with it, and this has alighted interest among the youths and currently creating a lot of sustained employment within and around Ankpa town, as they are being trained by Imex, on making the briquettes themselves with mini-manual briquette making press. This will be replicated gradually nationwide to systematically divert people’s dependency on firewood to coal briquette.
