Black tea is fully fermented tea, its basic technological process is the killing-out, the first kneading, pile fermentation, rekneading and drying, among which the pile fermentation is the key to the formation of black tea quality-by the aquathermal reaction from pile-fermentation and action of the fermented  black aspergilus the color of the tea is made dark or dark brown, so comes the name of Dark Tea. It is post-fermented tea, a special kind of tea in China with long history that was for border trade in history after being pressed in bricks.

GOLD MONTE's black tea is mainly produced in these regions of China, Anhua county, Hubei province, Sichuan province, Yunnan province and Guangxi province. The main varieties are Anhua Dark Tea in Hunan, Hubei Flat Tea, Sichuan Border-trade Tea, Guangxi Liubao Bulk Tea, Yunnan Pu 'er Tea and so on.
