V cone flowmeter

 DESCRIPTION OF PRODUCTS 

The combination of V-cone flow sensor and differential pressure transmitter is a kind of novel differential pressure type flow meter .

It can accurately measure the fluid under variety of flow conditions in wide range of Reynolds number.The principle ,same as that of other differential pressure type flow meter , is to measure according to Bernoulli,i.e. energy conservation of fluid continuously flowing in closed conduits . For ideal fluids , the flow rate is proportional to square root of differential pressure .

Good Repeatability

The repeatability of V-cone flow sensor is ±0.1%,or better . 

Wide Range

The turn down of V-cone flow sensor is far beyond traditional differential pressure type instruments . The typical turn down of V-cone is *0:1, greater range also achieveable . When the Reynolds number is down to ***0, the flow meter will generate differential

signals.Therefore , it can also measure medium with low range of Reynolds number . 

Low Installation Cost

Becasue it doesnot require long straight pipe , the V-cone flow meter can fit into tight spaces . When retrofitting existing applications, the V-cone flow meter typcially fits right in place without having to re-engineer the piping layout .

This installation flexibility saves cose , space and minimizes weight penalty problem without compromising the accuracy of the measurements . Future changes to upstream or downstream piping configurations will not affect the performance of the V-cone

flow meter .
